SUMMER READING AND ENRICHMENT

Summer learning loss occurs when students are out of school for long periods of time.  Some studies show students loose as much as one month of what they learned through out the year, with children from lower income families being particulary vunerable.

On Track Education, Inc. aims to prevent the summer slide by partnering with locally established summer programs by providing their enrollees with a summer reading program.  The children will be assessed and put in appropriate reading level groups and will have daily group reading.  The groups will be lead by qualified teachers who have been hired and vetted by On Track Education.
